Earthy Day

Not much happening around here. Mike had a birthday this past weekend. Sarah was highly disappointed that we didn't get him a piñata. Other than that, we've just been watching it snow.

Yes. Snow. That's not a typo. Temperatures have been around 15-20 degrees below normal, and we've set some new record lows. The interesting thing is that this isn't bothering me much. It feels like this is just our new way of life. We live in snow now. All the time.

The plants in our yard might not be so Zen about this. Confused probably better describes their current state.



Lola doesn't seem to mind the powder. She loves to roll around in it. Do you think I can count this as a bath for her?



Nope. Just checked. She still stinks. Oh well, happy Earth Day! Go outside and smell a dog...ummm, I mean a flower.
