Child Labor

On the days that Sarah and Mike spend time without me, I never really know what they do together. I just know that Sarah is usually so giddy she can barely speak when I see her again and Mike, well, he comes home looking much in need of a Calgon moment.

This weekend they had lots of father-daughter time. I had no idea how they spent that time until this morning when I found the footage that Mike shot:

Yes, they spent their time working on the car. WooHoo! As you can see, Sarah is pretty handy with the tools, but what is most remarkable about these videos is the lack of talking on her part. It's rare that she isn't jabbering.

So, I guess it was a good weekend. It's now clear why Sarah is able to correctly identify the difference between a monkey wrench and a sledge hammer. And, she'll definitely never be the kind of girl that doesn't know how to change a tire.

The girl is wising up! I heard
her say "I'm tired of doing this".
Please....We have men to do this
nasty work for us. Do not let
this little lady believe she has
to do this grunt work. REJ
