Dead To Her
So, remember Sarah's imaginary friends? Jawgee, Lolli and Budu - those are the names she finally settled on. Well, you can forget about them now. Sarah has no need for them anymore:
"My friends are coming. They'll be here soon."
"OK. Which friends?"
"Jawgee, Lolli and Budu....[pause, faraway gaze]...No. They're not coming. I don't have them anymore."
And just like that they're done. Gone. Dropped like a hot box of boils. Sorry girls.

Ah girls are fickle :)
None of my kids have had imaginary friends. Probably because we're swimming with people in a tiny house as it is. Who has room for imaginary friends?
Oh man - just wait until junior high - she will be ruthless I bet!
poor little imaginary friends! you know how girls are! they were probably wearing white shoes after labor day! or is memorial day, i can never remember! love, carrie
There is a word for that.. What is it.. fickle, indifferent, ambivalent.. I can't remember.. but all kids have it and it's so cute and freeing. Sweet.
