Emergency Proclamation - California Style
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger issued an emergency proclamation Friday citing "conditions of extreme peril to the safety of persons and property ... as a result of extreme low temperatures and freezing conditions."
It was 28 degrees Fahrenheit when I woke up this morning. Brutal. (Stop the giggling in the back, Midwesterners.)

In Boston it was 50F today. I wore a fleece. It is supposed to get cold tomorrow though, maybe falling to 39F! We might freeze to death! :D

his proclamation has brought the bureaucrats down to swarm all around me....woohoo for me.
No, it's not fun when you're not used to those temperatures and not prepared for them.
OK, I admit it - I giggled a little. But I know what you are used to, and it can be a shock.
We *finally* got snow last night! More to come tonight and tomorrow.
