Joke Of The Day

Sarah's been telling us a knock-knock joke for a while now. It goes like this:

Her: Knock-knock!
Us: Who's there?
Her: Monkey
Us: Monkey who?
Her: Night-night

Yeah, we don't get it either.

Mike finally asked Sarah's daycare teacher if she had taught her the joke. We were hoping she could clear up the meaning of the joke and give us the real punch line. As it turns out, Sarah didn't learn the joke from her teacher. It's an original straight from her imagination!

So, we're left wondering why the monkey went night-night, who is this monkey, and what's so funny about him sleeping? OK, we do get the humor of a sleeping monkey. (Come on, monkeys are funny!) But, we're still confused about the rest of the joke.
