Easter Weekend
We heard a rumor that the Easter Bunny would be making a stop in the Sierra Nevadas for some cross country skiing, so we went to Bear Valley to try to catch a glimpse of the little fur ball. We took Sancho and Lola along too, because if anyone can sniff out a rabbit, Lola can. And well, Sancho can sniff. Here we are hot on the bunny's trail. Lola is about seven counties ahead of us.
When we finally got to the top of the mountain with only a few glimpses of rabbit tracks, Sarah realized she might get a better view from her dad's back, so she climbed on his shoulders.
After a while, Sarah did what any sensible person would do when stuck out in the wilderness with fools. She left us to our own devices.
When she woke up, she decided that to better understand the Easter Bunny (and to humor us, because come on, she was getting hungry and cold) she would embody him.
For all of her effort, the Easter Bunny (who remained unseen) rewarded her with a graham cracker and the top of a brand new bottom front tooth. Next year, she's hoping for the rest of her teeth and some real candy ("a graham cracker is not candy, mom") to rot them up good.

Wow, you all had quite the bunny trip!! You all must be in great shape!
That picture is so cute!
My niece (almost 2) has some huge molars coming in now and it looks like it hurts so much, but I think she is used to teething now, b/c she is rarely fussy about it now.
