At a stop light, a man walks in front of our car:

Mom! That man has an earring on.
Mmmmmhmmm... (I was concentrating on an NPR interview with George Clooney. Important stuff.)
Men don't wear earrings!
Uh...well, some men do.
No! They don't!
They do. They really do.
Why!?!
Well...ummm... (Thinking: Why does anyone wear earrings? Pointless, really. Holes in the ears. Kind of silly. Why do we wear earrings? Does Clooney have an earring? Hmmmm...)
Maybe he's trying to be goofy.
Maybe he wants to wear his baby's earrings.
Maybe.

Should daddy wear an earring?

Well, there goes Mike's plans for tonight. I'm pretty sure he was also going to get inked. You know, Sarah thinks people with tattoos have been playing with "staining pens". (staining pens = Magic Markers)
