Career Options
Sarah has some ideas about what she wants to be when she grows up. In her first plan, she and one of her best friends are going to work together:
Me and Myles are going to be FIREFIGHTERS!
Place lots of emphasis and energy on the FIREFIGHTERS! part.
But it seems she may already be employed. After explaining that if she wants to buy yet another baby stroller she has to get a job and save her money, we had this conversation:
I already have a job.
Really, what is it?
To see a horse that is dead. Then I throw hay at them.
Don't worry. I'm not exactly sure what that means either.
In her mind, I think dead means lying down and a horse that is lying down can be coaxed up with some hay. So, I'm going to translate this all to mean that she aspires to be a veterinarian. A FIREFIGHTING! veterinarian.

that is so funny. james is also obsessed with firefighters. well, really fire extinguishers. he knows where EVERY fire extinguisher in the city of pell city is located. whenever we go anywhere he does not settle down to have a good time until he knows where every one is! i am searching for a toy one, if you see one, let me know. love, carrie
