Niko - Part Ein

Our German friend, Niko, was in town last week for a conference. He now lives in Zurich, but still believes that Berlin is heaven on Earth. Anyway, we've traveled to several places in the US with him (Lake Tahoe, Las Vegas, The OC) and even to some foreign countries (New Zealand, Switzerland, Germany). He's a great traveling companion filled with interesting conversation and a deep understanding of physics. His only requirements are that hamburgers be readily available and that not too much physical exertion be involved in our activities - like absolutely no walking. So, this weekend in keeping with our traveling theme, we packed up the car and headed to Santa Cruz.

We didn't even make it out of Menlo Park before we got hungry, so we stopped at Cafe Barrone for a quick bite to eat.
