Rolly Polly

Sarah got to go to the doctor today again. The conclusion is that she is healthy, very healthy. She's in the 75th percentile in weight (17lbs 2oz) and height (26 1/2 in). The doctor asked if I had any concerns. I told her about Sarah's refusal to roll over. The doctor then explained very politely that sometimes babies her size have some problems developing the ability to roll. What she was really trying to say is that Sarah is too plump to roll over. The doctor doesn't seem to think that the plumpness or the lack of rolling are problems. She's developing well in all other areas - especially in the areas of snatching shiny medical instruments out of pediatrician's hands and shredding massive quantities of examination table paper while screaming in glee. So, I guess we'll just have to accept the fact that we have a very odd looking dog who rolls over and one super cute kid who doesn't.

Nag. Nag. Nag. First, it's here stuff this spoon in your mouth. Now, it's roll over. Tell me, if rolling over is so great, why is the dog the only one doing it?
