Let's talk about the weather...

It has snowed here every day this week. Today's storm was enough for all of the schools in the area to be closed.

The forecast for the next few days:

Fri
36 °
21 °
Sat
32 °
20 °
Sun
30° 19 °
Chance of Snow
50% chance
Snow
70% chance
Chance Snow
40% chance

According to our neighbors (who are primarily California transplants who have lived in the area no longer than 5 years) this amount of snow is anomalous. The one native in the neighborhood says this is a typical winter. An old timer who sat next to Mike on an airplane said these storms are "nothin". Who knows?

One thing is for sure, St. Francis is nearly buried and shouldering a mighty burden today.

Still, all of this snow continues to be a source of great fun.

Fun stuff like snowman building.

And carrot snacking.

Who is shoveling the driveway? Have you invested in a snowblower?
Our snowblower and shovel get used about 50/50. I prefer the shovel.
Those heavy snows warrant a snowblower. Men like snowblowing.
A manly neighbor with a snowblower is the best deal. No operation, maintenance, or storage expenses.

REJ - We're cut from the same cloth. I think the shovel does a great job and I kind of enjoy digging out there. We have a great neighbor, though, who loves his snowblower and has been clearing out our driveway after I'm done shoveling.

I didn't think we'd ever have snow removal tactics in common.
