Pumpkin Patch

Sarah's daycare took a field trip to a pumpkin patch on Friday. Of course, the parents had to tag along. (We can't let our kids have fun without us! Plus, someone had to be there to capture every darling moment.)

So, here's Sarah standing by a pumpkin:

Here's Sarah delivering a lecture about pumpkins:

(This is where I was going to insert a photo of Sarah sitting on a pumpkin and another one of her looking away from the pumpkins and another one of her squinting at the pumpkins and another one of her tapping a pumpkin, but it became too much - even for me.)

So, instead, here's a photo of a duck that Sarah tried to feed her fingers to:

Here are goats and pigs exhausted by all of the noisy kids and their pumpkin obsessed parents:

Here's a donkey. It stunk.

This is where I'd insert a photo of Sarah riding on a train through the pumpkin patch, but the train broke down just as we got there. Bummer! But, if a mechanical problem on a pint-sized caboose is the only problem that you run into after mixing farm animals, toddlers and large fruit, I'd have to say that you've had a good day.

Everyone (including the kids) had a good time.

I'll bet the trip to the pumpkin patch was a lot more relaxing than the trip last year to Half Moon Bay to see the pumpkins. Besides, Sarah probably enjoyed this trip more.

Granpaw - This trip was so much easier than the one we tortured you with to Half Moon Bay. We'll never make that mistake again. Hope all is well.

I admire your restraint with the various pumpkin pics. I think I must lack that quality character trait. We are going to a pumpkin patch tomorrow with Jacob, Emma, and Rachel - we'll see how much restraint I have on our Julianne's blog. We love pics of Sarah - so don't feel you have to withhold too many - please!
