I Surrender
She did it again. Sarah drug me out of bed at some crazy hour last night or was it this morning? Whatever. All I know is that it was dark, I was tired and the clock was showing single digits in the hour portion of the display. I give up. I declare her the winner in this mind game that she's playing with me. Yup. It's that easy to break me. A couple of sleepless nights and I raise the white flag.
Even though I was tired, the crisp morning was enough to draw me out for a walk. Sancho's pawing at the door also helped a bit. When we were strolling down a street in the neighborhood, we came upon a man who was pushing huge mounds of purple magnolias with his janitor style broom down his driveway like it was a chore to deal with so much beauty. It was surreal. I wish I had taken my camera. When we got home, I noticed that it was raining white flower petals in our driveway. California is amazing in the winter. Here's Sancho sitting in the dusting of petals - unfortunately the fragrance didn't permeate his jacket of stench.

Your doggie looks so regal, doesn't look like he would smell so bad, LOL
It's nice to have pretty things to look at if you have to be up so early!! I hope you get some rest soon! How old is your baby?
