How do you know that you no longer live in the desert? Well, when you find mushrooms sprouting in your potted plants, it's probably a pretty good clue that you've moved into an area where water actually falls from the sky. This sort of stuff never happened when we lived in Acton.




Now, if I could only get some mesclun greens to sprout in another pot, we might have a tasty salad on our hands.
