Grinding

Sarah slept for 14 hours last night! That normally would have been great, but today, it meant that I couldn't have any coffee. You see, we finally had a reason to throw our impossible to clean coffee maker in the trash yesterday. So, this morning, I was going to have to grind beans and use our espresso maker. So, what's the big deal? Well, the problem is that the coffee grinder infuriates Sarah. She hates the grinder more than a wet diaper. So, I waited and I waited for her to wake up. Instant coffee was starting to look really good. I wondered how hard it would be to tie a note around Sancho's neck and send him to Starbuck's for help. Finally, at 10:30, she woke up. I was able to grind my coffee beans and have a super venti espresso (I think that means big). The caffeine is just starting to kick in which is a good thing, because based on my current calculations, Sarah will be ready for bed around midnight. Hmmm... maybe I should brew another cup.

Here's Sarah about to head out to watch her very first rugby game on Saturday.

I love rugby!
