There Is A Santa!

I almost forgot all about this. On Christmas morning, at the bottom of my stocking, guess what Santa left for me. Oh, come on, guess. If you're not going to guess, this isn't going to be any fun, spoil sport.

It's something whose absence caused an entire shift in our lifestyle (no television for, oh, about 12 hours), and ultimately drove us in desperation to buy a TiVo (just for the convenience of no longer having to move more muscles than those in our thumb to change the channel, because when your brain is wasting away, might as well let the rest of your body follow). That's right! Tucked safely under chocolates was the television remote control that disappeared way back in November:

Apparently, one of Santa's elves found it stashed in the pocket of a backpack which was in our office closet. Hmmm... I wonder how it got in there. Anyway, the elf gave it to Santa who then made my Christmas wish come true. Isn't that incredible? Come to think of it, maybe I should have wished for a winning lottery ticket instead.

Just think, now you have the remote AND A TIVO!! Yay! We love all of ours, (yes, we have 3).

If you don't have kids, you have to spend your money on something fun!

N - You know the TiVo is all your fault. Mike had gadget envy way back when he saw yours (when you had one before it was cool). Now, we can't believe we waited so long to get one. Hope you're having a great week!

Carrie - That would have required effort. It was so much easier to order a TiVo via the internet and wait for a nice man to bring it to our door. We never even had to put on shoes! Good thing you caught James tossing the lab sheet. I can only imagine how much stuff Sarah has gotten rid of that we haven't even noticed yet.
