Rita, Rita en el campo grita...
If I had known that having a baby would bring my sister out to visit, Mike and I would have had kids a long time ago - a whole swarm of them.
This past weekend my sister sacrificed time with her awesome kids (I know you might think that I'm biased, but her kids really are awesome.) and flew all the way from Wisconsin just to visit us. Can you believe that? Neither can I. OK. She actually came out to see Sarah, but I like to think we were part of the draw too.
Our time with her was great. We made her admire famous sculptures, eat bizarre food, run up hills, and throw the ball for Sancho over and over again. (Those of you who know my sister probably think I made that up. I didn't. I honestly watched her pick up a slimy ball and toss it for Sancho - not at Sancho - more than once!) Sarah also totally fell in love with her. The first day Rita was here, Sarah laughed and played with her so hard that she fell asleep in the bathtub. She had never done that before.
I really miss my big sister. I can't understand why she won't bring her family to sunny California and be my next door neighbor.
Here is proof, once and for all, that I am the taller of the Romero sisters.

Julianne you were the main reason to visit San Francisco. Sarita is just a great excuse.
I was a GREAT trip! I can't describe how much
it meant to see all you guys. I survived and enjoyed the
seperation from my Kids which rarely happens.
I have to mention Julianne helped me move and visited me in WI a number of times when traveling
was not convenient for me. Those visits were
greatly appreciated. This trip was payback!
Mike kept us so busy/entertained we could not
keep up. I only stand taller in years as a Romero
sister. However, I am a late bloomer and there is still hope. I do wear flat shoes and my hair is not as fluffy. I tell you Julianne is just a hair taller.
